Certified Professional Dog Trainer/Class Instructor

Laurie is a lifelong dog guardian and lover of all animals.  After many years involved in rescue and fostering/rehabilitating assorted domestic species, she has dedicated herself to a second career as a professional dog trainer.  Significant study along with attendance at professional conferences have given her a solid training foundation, based on modern and sound scientific principles.  This combined with several hundred hours of practical class and private instruction led to her achievement of the CPDT-KA designation. 
Laurie’s cherished animal family includes Bernese Mountain Dogs Luna & Sadie, Hungarian Vizsla Fred, and Gordie the cat.
